Post-Production Manager (6 month contract) at THE DODO: The Dodo is seeking an experienced Post-Production Manager to provide oversight and support in the post-production process for a 6 month, in-office project starting in February, 2020. As Post-Production Manager, you’ll help to establish processes to handle delivery of a daily series, while working with the creative team to ensure that all assets have been through the required rounds of creative review and QC. You’ll serve as a point-person for both internal team-members and external contacts.

Job Descriptions

A typical week includes
· Assisting in the creation, implementation and execution of post production workflows, processes and technical guidelines.
· Planning, scheduling, and manage the assignments and daily workflow of the editing and graphics team to ensure on time delivery that meet required specifications.
· Oversee QC workflows for third party deliverables to ensure all technical requirements are met.
· Managing and maintaining assets, resources, and deliverables tracking documents.
· Willingness to edit and apply motion graphics for projects if needed.

Success will look like
· Creating and implementing workflows that efficiently track delivery of multiple assets on a weekly basis.
· Ensuring that schedule is adhered to, while taking proactive steps to make potential adjustments in order to regularly improve efficiencies.
· Meeting frequent, tight deadlines with an external partner.

The Post-Production Manager will have
· 4-5 years of post-production experience in digital media.
· Familiarity with post-production workflows including ingest, editing, color, audio, motion graphics, exports and archiving.
· Experience in managing large projects with daily deadlines.
· Proficiency in the Adobe Suite, specifically Premiere and After Effects.
· Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· A love of the Dodo brand and voice, and excitement about helping to bring the business to the next level.
